YouthSpot
Connecting youth to local help

Deliverables

Digital Branding, Strategy, Information Architecture, Prototyping + User Journeys, Digital Design / UI + UX, Front-end Development

Young people in the city of Harderwijk are difficult to reach. Various organizations such as local government, youth work, sports clubs and schools have noticed that this problem has increased during the Covid period. Children and young people aged 12 to 26 spend less time outside, have fewer friends and suffer more from depressive thoughts.

In collaboration with the local government of Harderwijk and youth workers, we have developed a tool to introduce young people to various organizations in Harderwijk. The aim is for them to know that these organizations exist. It is up to the users if they want to contact these organizations. For example, by sending a DM on Instagram or by visiting their website.

Design by Basix, build external

We developed the brand name for YouthSpot, the digital branding, photography guidelines and social media templates. The aim was to make the visual appearance resonate with the youthful and inclusive target group. And above all, to convey that the privacy of users is guaranteed.

With just 3 simple questions we direct users to meaningful information. Without collecting any personal or user data. 100% safe and anonymous.
